Seducing Simon is a very well written and totally sweet romance. When I bought it I was under the assumption that it was an erotic romance, but it wasn’t. It was my own sloppiness that caused this misunderstanding, but I don’t mind reading a contemporary romance once in a while, so it was fine. And I couldn’t have chosen a better book for the occasion.
Because this novel was really a great read: full of suspense, very nice characters and hot firemen (which is definitely a bonus), lots of heartbreaking and sweet emotions, and besides the tender moments enough drama. So I liked it a lot and couldn’t put it down when it was time to go to sleep.
I did love the setting of four friends living in one house together. And the other characters did get to play a good part in the story as well. They weren’t just there for decoration but added something to the plot.
And I do like the friends-falling-in-love type of plot a lot. Besides all that, Maya Banks just knows how to tell a story that’ll get to you. Her great dialogues are contributing to that.
I did of course miss the hot love scenes ;-) and if it weren’t for that I would’ve rated this story with 5 stars instead of 4 stars.
