Mondays Hot Couple & The Tudors
No time today to post much. I have this deadline tomorrow morning, by then a bunch of articles needs to be edited and ready to send to the lay out designer. And I’m behind, as always, due to my fabulous ability to procrastinate.
Anyhoo, with any luck and some more perseverance I’ll make it in time and even have my DIK Challenge review finished by tomorrow (of Caught Running by Madeleine Urban & Abigail Roux). On Wednesday a review of Three Wrong Turns in the Desert by Neil Plakcy will hopefully be posted (it’s almost done at this moment). And Thursday maybe another review or my June wrap-up post will show up.
For now, I don’t have a sexy scene for you, but maybe this video about one of history’s classic love stories, will entertain you instead. It’s the romanticized love of King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn and the clips are from the TV show The Tudors. The song is Sarah Brightman’s Eden. I haven’t seen the show yet, but recently received the DVD of the first season from a friend.
Have you watched or ever heard of this show?
Is it just me, or is Jonathan Rhys Meyers sexy as hell?
Happy Monday!

GAH! Deadlines. Who needs'em? Yuck. :) Have a great day xoxo
ReplyDelete*big sigh* deadlines real life strikes again.
ReplyDeleteYes, he's really hot. :) Also, there's that episode where he's um, erm, taking care of personal *ahem* business and there's the servant dude kneeling in front of him with the cloth to catch his seed. Never saw that on TV before and while it was random background for the scene, it's surprisingly hot. Heh.
ReplyDeleteHang in there! Love the Tudors but Henry the VIII he ain't!
ReplyDeleteMia - you would catch that - pun intended!
I do not know how to confess this..but..there was too much sex..I know right! I just do not wanna watch it, a need a story
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping you make your deadline!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the deadline!
ReplyDeleteAfter reading Blodeuedd's comment, I might just have to check out this series! LOL!
Love the Tudors but the biggest reason is that I discovered Philippa Gregory's books on the Tudor wives(show based on these). A simply fabulous set of historical fiction on Henry Viii's wives.
ReplyDeleteI made the deadline! Thanks for all your supporting comments everyone! :)
ReplyDeleteI guess not all of you are watching the Tudors then? I hope it's not for the same reason as Blodeuedd's, is it? *g* I'm with Eyre there, the more reason to watch it. ;)
Mia, I sure hope that episode is from the first season because than I have it on DVD. I must go check! :D
Lisa, I didn't know about the books, thanks for that piece of info and for stopping by at my place! :)
Was just about to wish you luck for the deadline and then saw that you'd made it! YAH! *happy dance*
ReplyDeleteI watch The Tudors. Am eagerly awaiting the next season! It's not very historically accurate, but it's oh so lush!
