Happy Gay Friday & OMG What Have We Done?

TGIF!! It has been another crazy week! And this time in a life altering way… probably and hopefully. Why? Because it looks like we sold our house!!! It has been for sale for only two weeks and already we found a buyer. Crazy, right? That is, of course, unless the buyer can’t get a mortgage… But if all goes well, it means that we’re ‘homeless’ as of September 1st! Eeek! We have about 5 weeks left to find us a new house, because by then we’re leaving for our vacation in Alaska. The tickets are already bought so we have to go. Argh! ;) When we get back it’s almost August and time to start packing, painting and cleaning up the new house before the movers come to get our stuff. It’s all going crazy fast all of a sudden!

But

In fact, I really look forward to moving to the city. It’s going to be so exciting! I’m bouncing all over the place, lol!

Hope you all have a Happy Gay Friday!

  2. Big congrats on the house sale, Janna! And a trip to Alaska -- how exciting! Be sure to look for bald eagles, moose, and (I think) whales. It's supposed to be a great place for wildlife sightings!

  3. @Fiction Vixen: Thank you for the confetti! *love*

    @Blodeuedd: It is, isn't it? :)

    @Val: Thanks, Val! Yeah, Alaska is very exciting too! :) It's getting a bit overshadowed by 'The Move' now, but I'm really looking forward to the wildlife sightings and everything! =)

  4. Congrats on selling the house so quickly - that's wonderful!

    Now did you all decide to sell just to make life interesting or are you moving out of the city you're currently living in? I'm always curious as to why people decide to move. :)

    Alaska sounds fun! I've heard it's absolutely beautiful, so enjoy.

  6. @Tracy: Lol, yep, it's definitely going to make life interesting. ;) But the actual reason is that hubs changed jobs a while ago and now we both work in and near the city we want to move to. The commute is doable so we could stay here, but the other city is a nicer city (bigger, older, more culture like festivals, theaters, bookstores, etc).
    We've never been to Alaska before, but I think we'll enjoy it a lot. :)

    Thank you!

    @orannia: Thanks, hon! That won't be easy. We'll go for *almost* perfect. ;)

    @Patti: I'm really looking forward to Alaska, especially now with the house hunting taking up all our free time. :)

    @Ava: It does, indeed! I'm all for excitement, but I'll be glad when we're settled down again, lol! :D

    @Twimom: Thanks, sweets! I believe that too. :) Let's hope it won't get canceled now. ;)

    @Jen Turner: Thank you! :) Yep, we're looking for character, so basically we're viewing *old* houses. For instance the house we viewed yesterday originates from the 15th century. :)
