Determined to show his boyfriend that he can be everything Danny needs, Rick hatches a plan that ends up revealing way more than he could’ve imagined.

(Warning: Contains an altercation between the main characters and a group of anti-gay morons.)

Yours Forever is this author’s first contribution to the m/m werewolf romance sub genre and oh oh oh what a contribution. It’s one hawt short story that despite its length (or lack thereof) contains more than one hawt sex scene, action and romance.

When I started reading Yours Forever two things struck me: I love this author’s bluntness. Because of the length of this story, the author jumps right in. She gives the reader a good basis without handing over the keys to the story.

The second thing that struck me was: this is going to be porn without a plot. While the plot is short and sweet and the porn, or rather hot man love, is the main focus, there is enough character building to make it more than PWP.

I’ll not tell you much about this plot, because it will give the story away, but when Ricky starts doubting his new lover on where he goes every month, he sure does get creative on finding a solution. I really hated that their scene got interrupted, because holy jumping jacks in a barrel of oil, that was hot! Screen melting hot.

The characters fit the story and each other (he he he). There is not a whole lot of character building, but enough. The reader does get a bit more on Ricky because the story is told from his point of view and I did find myself wanting to know a bit more about Danny. Overall, it doesn’t take away from the story as a whole.

What I especially appreciated about this story was the fact that Danny might be the werewolf and big and strong, and Ricky might be mates, but Danny is not the dominant in the relationship. Towards the end it becomes more of a partnership, but Danny likes to be topped. Nor does the fact that they are mates mean that there is instant love or the mate becomes a brainless slave because of the mate bond. It has been bothering me a bit in romance that the bigger man is almost always the top and the more dominant in the relationship. It doesn’t always have to be so.

It might come as no surprise that I love this author’s work and I might just be a little biased, but Yours Forever is a good read. It might be short, but it both suits the story and it’s worth the read. Especially if you want to know what Ricky can do with a few strips of leather!

  1. Sounds like a good read! I just read Come Cuddle Me, which was kind of disappointing - really short and eh.

    1. Lately all her stories are short, which I don't like because the stories are so good. This one as well, but still worth the read, because it's well written!
